Collaborate With Us
Got an idea that deserves a little swagger, and a room full of curious people? We’re always looking for artists, makers, musicians, storytellers, and brands to bring something interesting into the shop. The Handsome Jack isn’t just a store, it’s a clubhouse for creators, artists, and neighbors! Below are some the typical ways we collaborate, but really, we make our own rules. Money doesn’t have to be the hard part.. There are a few ways this can work, depending on the collaboration.
If you handle your own sales, awesome!
If The Handsome Jack processes a sale, we retain a 5% processing fee to help cover our transaction costs, retain the taxes, then give you the net proceeds.
If you're selling something we already carry in the shop, we ask that your price match ours.
Sales
Good events don't promote themselves.
We ask everyone we work with to help spread the word through their own channels. There's no prescribed formula and we're not keeping score. Posts, Stories, Reels, TikToks, newsletters, Spotify, Bandcamp, collaborations, reposts—whatever reaches your people and gets them excited is fair game.
We'll do our part, too, with promotion through our own channels. The more we both put into it, the more fun—and hopefully the more successful—the whole thing will be.
Promotion
From storytelling nights to stand-up to signings, speakers, classes, and intimate performances, we love filling the shop with good conversation and memorable characters. Bring us an idea, be ready to collaborate, and we’ll make it happen!
Seated events are generally limited to about 15 guests and take place in the lounge or on our covered deck.
We are not licensed to sell alcohol.
We start with “yes” and figure the rest out later.

Other Events
Bring your stuff. Bring your people. Take over a corner of the shop for a while. There is no fee to host a pop-up at The Handsome Jack. You can handle your own sales, or we can process them through our system, whichever works for you.
That's pretty much it.
Make something cool. Tell people about it.
Pop-Ups
We love giving artists a place to show their work.
Artists interested in exhibiting can submit work by email or stop by the shop and introduce themselves.
We ask that pieces be properly presented in quality frames—no plastic frames, please—and signed by the artist. We will gladly work with you to make this as easy/affordable as possible. Our gallery area includes approximately 9 feet of hanging space. We generally recommend 5–7 pieces, depending on the size of the work.
The Handsome Jack processes the sale and retains a 15% commission on the sale price. After applicable taxes, the artist receives the remaining 85% of the net proceeds. Unlike a traditional gallery, purchased artwork can leave with its new owner immediately. We’ll carry prints, books, and merch on a consignment basis for the run of the show.
Art Shows
We love to have bands in the shop, doing Tiny Desk style shows. We tend to host on Saturday afternoons, but the occasional Thursday or Friday evening works as well. The budget is “for the love of the game”. Tell your friends and families, round ‘em all up and bring ‘em out! We’ll promote as well and can expect to gather a crowd through foot traffic. We’ll collect photos, some video, and share them for your us. Artists me sell merch directly to fans. We’d love to have a copy of your record in our bins though.
